Also, my parents actually listened to my passionate outbursts, and they've agreed to give me an allowance (finally!). Maybe it was the crying that tipped them off. Whatever it was, I feel so much better. Despite my numerous attempts at trying to explain why I love books, they still don't understand it, but at least they get that I care about this. (Sure, they're not classics, but I like to call them "future classics.")
I noticed a lot of you commented about going to the library, and I completely agree. But I have this thing with buying the sequels of books right when they come out rather than waiting till the library has them, because I hate waiting! If you've seen my wishlist, you've probably seen that fact that most of those are newer books. So, yeah. But I still loved all those helpful tips! :D
It's Follow Friday and The Book Blogger Hop, hosted by Parajunkee and Crazy for Books (respectively)! Please comment and link your blog! I'd love to check it out!
This week's question is:
The Blogger Apocalypse made me a little emotional. What is the most emotional scene in a book that you have read recently?
Oh, hm... I usually cry on every book, but I actually haven't done that in a while. I think the one that really had tears pouring down my face was The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa. Other books I've read I've had to keep the tears down, because I don't want to be seen crying in school (Awkward.). Recently, I cried a bit during Linger by Maggie Stiefvater.
Are you going to Book Expo America (BEA) and/or the Book Blogger Convention (BBC) this year?
