All Things Asian: Books Over Boys and Giveaway

Welcome to our All Things Asian event! Visiting today is the marvelous blogger Momo from Books Over Boys.
Hiiiiiiii everyone! Thank you guys for having me here today, it’s my pleasure!
What are some of your favorite books?
Some of my most favorite books are The Crescent and Half Moon by Jordan Deen, Angelfire and Wings of the Wicked by Courtney Allison Moulton, The Tale of Lunarmorte series by Samantha Young and recently, Delirium by Lauren Oliver. <333
What do you look for in a book?
In a book, I look for the love story. I mean, that might sound like a “Duuuh!” type of response and of course, in YA books, there is always a love story, but the love story has to be done just right and to my liking. You see those books that I listed above as my favorites? Yeah, those all contain my kind of love story. I’m not saying that every other love story in the other YA books are bad…they’re just not my kind—if you know what I mean.
What is a completely random fact about you?
Just last year, I discovered that I have a real, legit phobia called typophobia. And what’s even weirder is that all six of my sisters have it, to some extent. At first, I always wondered how it felt like to have a real phobia—to seriously be scared or creeped out for your life, and well…now I know. I even looked up the symptoms and sure enough, I get them all the time when I run across…my phobia.
If you could have any supernatural power, what would it be?

If I could have any supernatural power, it would be to fly. Like with wings and everything. But if I were to do that, I would like to be invisible too…so I’m going to cheat and go with invisible flying powers. You know, sorta like Will from Angelfire. He has wings and he can fly in the Grimm. EPICNESS!
What is your opinion on spicy food?
Being Asian, I looooooove them! Almost everything I eat needs to have a certain level of spice, just have to! Without the spice, everything’s so bland and almost hard to swallow, lol!
How close would you say you are to Asian culture?

Honestly, I’m not that close to Asian culture. I mean, I’m taking a language class at school—the language that’s supposed to be my first language—and it’s so freakin’ hard. At home, I barely speak in my language; only a little to my parents but even then, English still gets in the mix. LOL, another fail!
Would you say you appreciate Asian inspired literature more, less, or the same as other literature?
I think I would appreciate Asian inspired literature just the same as other literature.
This or that:
Here's some help, Momo!
Egg rolls or sushi? Definitely egg rolls; I’m barely coming around to liking sushi. I’m like the little kid dipping their toes into the water to test it out. Right now, I’m testing out California rolls and I’m lovin’ them…but I haven’t tried anything else yet, lol!
Ramen or dumplings? Ooo, I like both but I think I’ll have to go with dumplings!
K-pop, J-pop, or Mandopop? I haven’t really listened to the other two, so I’m going with K-pop!
Chopsticks or fork? Fork! Haha, I cannot use chopsticks for the life of me! Every time I go to an Asian restaurant, I end up asking for a fork; I can’t eat until I have one, lol! Such a fail!
